Happy New Year

Time just has flown by... the beautiful picture of you and your parents on the seaside inspired me to revamp your blog ... I hope you like the color scheme.. the "cool" blue of the Ocean combined with the warm orange glow of you mother's warm jacket... all colors are directly inspired by the title picture.
I promise you some retrospect updates of your blog giving some highlights of the day to day life of your Belgian family....

The winter has so far been very mild.
Our roses continued producing occasional buds and flowers. The light snowfall in the Christmas week covers the red roses with a layer of delicate "frosting". Though our Christmas cards were already posted this was sufficient inducement to create a digital Christmas greetings card as well.

2007 is a year of celebration...

• Mammie turned 70 years
• Mammie and Pappie were married 45 years ago

we organized a party at home with the Benoit siblings and their spouses. We arranged a long table to seat 14 people in our living room... Peter, Michael, Bart and me shared the cooking between the 4 of us, Maria-Laura and Emilia were waiting on the tables... it was a big success.
